Programs and Services
One-time Programs
Health & Wellness
Through partnerships with hospitals, universities, and private organizations, SPARC provides residents with convenient access to on-site health screenings and clinical services.
Educational Programs and Workshops
At SPARC, we believe knowledge is the key to success. Our educational programs empower residents with valuable information and practical solutions for everyday challenges. Offerings include seminars, resource fairs, smartphone training, and safety workshops. Participants gain insights on essential topics such as estate planning, proper nutrition, emerging fraud scams, maintaining an active lifestyle, and more.
We are continuously seeking new topics and industry professionals to share their expertise. If your organization is interested in contributing to one of our panels, please visit our contact page for more information.
Home Safety and Repairs
SPARC partners with organizations that provide free and/or low cost home repairs. This ultimately improves the quality of life, health and safety of each resident.
At weatherization and home repair events, homesites receive essential upgrades such as wheelchair ramps, yard cleanups, safety modifications, and energy-efficient improvements.
Ongoing Programs
Food Banks
SPARC aims to help alleviate the financial burden of accessing healthy food and fresh produce for the residents within Millennium Housing communities. SPARC collaborates with non-profit and for-profit organizations, as well as direct food distribution programs, by providing strategic distribution points within the communities. Having SPARC offer free food programs directly in the community ensures that the maximum number of residents are served, including those who may be homebound.
Exercise Programs
SPARC offers a diverse range of on-site exercise programs at little to no cost for residents. Classes include chair yoga, tai chi, basic aerobics, strength training, and balance exercises. These programs are made possible through partnerships with local gyms, government initiatives, and private organizations.
Holiday
SPARC's holiday season kicks off with Halloween and wraps up with Christmas. We provide a wide variety of programs that will assist our residents during this time of year. Some of these events include:
Halloween Safety - SPARC connects our residents with local police departments and other safety organizations to educate children and families on how to keep themselves and their pets safe on Halloween. These events not only feature safety information, but foster a sense of community through a themed party that includes crafts, games, treats, and costume contest giveaways.
Coat Giveaway - Each winter a few communities are selected to receive brand new children's winter coats provided by SPARC.
Senior Warm Kits - This program provides the necessary items for our seniors to stay warm and dry during the winter season. Items include: gloves, beanies, scarves, socks, and a lap blanket.
Gift Giving Program - SPARC links generous community members and organizations with our families and seniors who often need extra assistance during the holiday season.
New Year New Shoe - SPARC has partnered with Shoes That Fit, a non-profit, that helps us provide name brand new shoes for a fraction of the retail cost. These shoes are given to children that reside in Millennium Housing communities.

Back to School
To help ease the financial burden of back-to-school expenses for low-income families, SPARC hosts a Back-to-School Event for children aged 17 and under in our mobile home communities. During this event, we provide essential school supplies to support students as they prepare for the new school year.
The supplies distributed include backpacks, binders, paper, pens, crayons, markers, scissors, glue sticks, and a variety of other items necessary for a successful start to the academic year. Additionally, SPARC collaborates with community partners to offer resources that promote school readiness. Visit our donations page to learn more about how you can contribute to supporting this important program.
Resource Fair
Health and Wellness Resource Fairs
SPARC organizes Resource Fairs as an engaging and informative platform to connect residents with a wide array of services available within their local community. Examples of participants at our Resource Fairs include community hospitals, government programs, local senior and youth centers, as well as various other community-based organizations.
